These terms govern your use of the Gettysburg Flight School website and student portal (together, the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. This document covers use of the Site itself — your actual flight training relationship with us is governed separately by our Enrollment Agreement and Liability Waiver.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site to learn about our training programs, request information, book a discovery flight, and, if you are an enrolled student, instructor, or admin, to access the student portal. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Site only for lawful purposes.
2. Portal Accounts
If we provide you with a student portal account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3. Bookings and Availability
Discovery flights and lessons booked through the Site are subject to aircraft availability, instructor availability, and weather conditions. We do not guarantee any specific date or time until confirmed, and scheduled flights may be rescheduled for safety, maintenance, or weather reasons.
4. No Guarantee of Outcome
Information about training timelines, hour estimates, and pricing on the Site is general and provided for planning purposes. Actual training time and cost vary by student, and we make no guarantee about how long training will take or the outcome of any FAA test or checkride.
5. Intellectual Property
The content on the Site, including text, graphics, and our syllabus materials, belongs to Gettysburg Flight School or its licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without permission, other than for your personal use as a student.
6. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Information on the Site does not replace official FAA publications, your instructor's guidance, or your own judgment as a pilot in training.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gettysburg Flight School is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under Pennsylvania law, and does not apply to claims covered separately by our Liability Waiver for actual flight training and flight activities.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
