Gettysburg Flight School

Gettysburg Flight School (W05)

Why Gettysburg Flight School?

There are a lot of flight schools out there. Here is why ours is different.

We Are Invested In Your Success

We Are Just As Invested In Your Certificate As You Are

Most flight schools treat students as recurring revenue. The longer you stay confused, the more you pay. We built Gettysburg Flight School because we have seen that model up close and refused to replicate it.

Every student who walks through our door gets a structured path, a clear next target, and an instructor who genuinely cares whether they finish. We track your progress through a click along syllabus so you always know exactly where you are and what comes next. You will never feel lost, stalled, or forgotten.

Built To Get You To The Finish Line

Most Students Who Start Flight Training Never Finish. We Built This School To Change That.

The national PPL completion rate is startling. The reasons students quit are almost always the same: they lose momentum, they run out of money, or they feel like they are not making progress.

We designed every part of Gettysburg Flight School to eliminate those three failure points specifically. Our structured syllabus keeps you moving forward with clear stage completions. Our transparent upfront pricing through the Grand Slam package means there are no financial surprises mid-training. And coming soon — an AI study assistant grounded in FAA materials, so you always have somewhere to turn when you are stuck on a concept at 10pm the night before a lesson.

The national PPL completion rate hovers around 20%. Most students who start never finish. Our goal is 90% — and we are building every part of this school to hit it. We track our completion rates and we will publish them. We are that confident in the system we have built.

Real Experience Designed Into Every Part Of Training

Designed By Someone Who Has Seen What Works and What Does Not

Ben has instructed at multiple flight schools and has over 1,600 hours of flight time across single and multi engine aircraft. He holds a Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Single and Multi-Engine, and CFI certificate.

That experience gave him a front row seat to every way a flight school can fail its students. Gettysburg Flight School was designed from the ground up to fix those failures. Not in theory. In practice, in the curriculum, and in the way we interact with every student from their first discovery flight to their checkride.

The Right Airport For Training

Your Time Is Valuable. We Do Not Waste It.

Training at a busy airport means waiting. Waiting for clearance, waiting for traffic, waiting for a runway. That waiting costs you money and breaks your learning momentum.

W05 Gettysburg Regional Airport is a controlled but uncongested environment. You spend your flight time flying, not idling on the taxiway. And with multiple airports within easy reach, we can expose you to different airspace environments as your training progresses -- giving you the real world experience that prepares you for flying anywhere, not just Gettysburg.

Discovery Flight

Not Sure Yet? Start With A Discovery Flight.

A discovery flight is 1.5 hours with one of our CFIs -- including approximately 45 minutes in the air. It is not a sightseeing tour. From the moment we walk to the plane you are part of the process.

You will handle the radios. You will take off. You will fly the plane. The only thing we require our instructors to handle is the landing. Everything else is yours if you want it.

A discovery flight is $200.
